Description:	Girls Athletic AssociationG.A.A. is an organization for junior and senior high girls who are interested in athletics. The purposes of the club are to encourage interest and participation in all sports offered, and to further a spirit of friendliness and good sportsmanship among the girls. The activities offered throughout the school year werebasketball, softball, speedball, badminton, volleyball, and swimming. A girl isawarded a chevron each year if she earns 100 points by participation in somesport. Numerals are awarded for the first 400 points, a block B for a totalof 800 points, and a circle B to those members having 1,000 points. Sweaterswere presented to senior girls meeting requirements of good sportsmanship,three years active membership in the club, high standards of leadership, andparticipation in six different sports.
