Description: V*?&:■£Opening Session! Our Class HistoryWhen we entered B.H.S. as freshmen in thefall of 1945, the four years ahead seemed likea long, long time. Now we are seniors, andthose four years are history. The first threeyears were almost uneventful for us as a class, but in the spring of 1948 we organized andelected our class officers. These officers in turnselected our sponsors, and we were ready tobegin our many activities.Last spring we were Junior Joes for a day, while the seniors paraded as tramps. Towardthe last of the year the Gothic staff was organized and began work with the aid of Mr. Brice. The climax of our junior year came with theannual prom, given in honor of the class of 48.Last fall, when we entered school, as seniors, our days became filled with many differentactivities. These included our parties, plays, participation in sports, and other extra-curricular activities which kept us on the run. Some ofour outstanding students were given individualhonors on several different occasions. We sponsored the pep session before the U.H.S. - B.H.S.basketball game. As the year drew to a closewe participated in Tramp Day, which broughtforth the usual hobos in hilarious attire. Theseniors honored their parents on Senior - ParentNight and reviewed for them the school life ofa senior. The weeks continued to pass and we donnedcaps and gowns to reign in pomp and gloryduring senior week. On Honor Day our outstanding students were honored, and on ClassDay we took our last bow to the student body.Following on swift feet came Baccalaureate, then Commencement — and the pages of ourhistory were filled.Tramp, Tramp, Tramp
