Washington won 45-0.Journeying down to Evansville to playBosse in a night game on October 4th, Bloomington took their fourth straight on the chin,37-0.Sullivan came up to play Bloomington in adrizzling rain and heavy field. Both teams skiddedand splashed around, at the same time vainly attempting to carry a soggy ball. The Panthers put upa good fight but lost 34-0.A greatly improved Panther team played Linton ina night game on October 1 6th. The two teams were veryevenly matched, but the Miners made two touchdowns inthe last quarter to beat Bloomington, 13-0.The next game was with Gerstmeyer of Terre Haute.
