The Proscenium PlayersThe Play is the ThingTHE Proscenium Players was organized in 1924 in order to giA7e studentsan opportunity to improve their dramatic abilities, to create an interest indramatics, to increase and train the power of appreciation, and to promotehigh standards in dramatics. Bloomington High School has had a dramatic clubfor the past twenty-five years. At least one three-act play is put on every year.The members present from four to eight one-act plays during the year.This year as their annual play, the Proscenium Players presented Bab—A Sub-Deb. The lead A\ras taken by Georgia Adams. In addition to Babthe club has also given a number of one-act plays at their meetings. The purpose of these plays Avas to bring out the talent in the club and give everyone achance to show their dramatic ability.
