Description: The Senior WillWE, THE CLASS OF 14, having passed our fourthbirthday and realizing that we are nearing the closeof this (school) life, and fearing that we may notbe able to survive the shock of a Junior Reception, being insound mind, do hereby make and publish this, our last willand testament; to-wit:FIRST: To the class of 15, we will and bequeath ourPhysics Manuals and notebooks, with the aid of which theycan more accurately hand in their experiments at the re-quired time. To the said class we also will and bequeathour territorial possessions in B. H. S., with the request thatno weeds be allowed to grow therein.SECONDLY: To the class of 16, we will and bequeathour charming dispositions and ever-ready smiles, that theymay fully enjoy their remaining years.THIRDLY: To the class of 17, commonly known asFreshies, we leave our everlasting patience, which is everneeded throughout this life. We further bequeath to thesaid class our misdeeds and faults that they may profit bythem in the future.FOURTHLY: To Miss Van Auken, we will and be-queath our dignity and most gracious courtesy.FIFTHLY: To Mr. Myers, we leave our knowledge ofother subjects besides Physics, especially History.SIXTHLY: To Mr. Williams, we leave our great abilityto speak, so that he may always be able to give lectures andsermons to his eager and affectionate classes.SEVENTHLY: To the entire faculty we leave ourgood will, and the wish that they will make the followingclasses work as hard as we have always had to do.EIGHTHLY: To Mr. Potter, our faithful janitor, wewill and bequeath the new High School building. Under hismanagement we rest assured that it will be properly at-tended, and swept and dusted at least once a year.NINTHLY: To those who have great difficulty in pre-paring lessons we will and bequeath Sam Bollenbachers andHenry Millers ability to bluff.TENTHLY: To Laurens Strain, we will and bequeathour Bibles with a prayer for his future.In testimony whereof, we hereto place our signaturethis first day of May, 1914.CLASS OF 1914.Witnesses:E.
