On firstobservation it would seem as thoughwe were setting ourselves up aslittle cherubs while publishingarticles censuring the student bodyor denouncing some action of thestudents or part of them. However,in true journalistic style we do thisin absolute kindness and when werefer to the members of the schoolwe always include ourselves.In taking the pictures of thevarious classes it was discoveredthat several members were absent.We have learned that they weresystematically notified as to timeand place, and do not know whetherthey remained away through timid-THE SPECULAThe Specula was founded last year by Hays Buskirk and George Henley.The first issue appeared February 24th, 1908. It was then issued as a bi-weekly, but last term it was doubled in size and issued monthly. It has beencontrolled by the founders who conduct popular elections for places on thestaff.
