Description: STRETCHING FOR all possible distance, Ken Wright takes offon one of his long jumps.THE BLOOMINGTON High cinder squad continued its winning ways under head coach MarshallGoss. The Panthers entered the SCC, relying ontheir depth. This depth paid off as the Pantherswon the meet while only placing first in threeevents. Overcoming a few injuries and the rainyweather, they captured the sectional title despitethe disqualification of the mile relay teasn. ThePanthers finished seventh in the regionals whenthe 880 relay team was disqualified because otan illegal handoff. The Panther harriers finished33rd in the state competitionUndefeated in dual meets and losing only oncein the three way meets to Indianapolis Washington, the cindermen went on to place first in twoinvitationals and third in another.
