Description:	Attendance whiteboardAt our school, students must enroll in five classes and are expected toearn credit in each class in which they are enrolled. Students are alsoexpected to attend school every day to ensure their chances of success.Students having more than five absences in any class during a quarterare subject to an appeal board or a staff review to retain their enrollment privileges. This year, we were encouraged to make extra effortsin increasing the overall attendance rate, and we did what we set out toBy: Rachael FlickDid you know thatnot coming toschool lowers yourgrades? Well itdoes. Lack ofschool slows downthe learning process, and do youwant to know why?Because if youdon’t come toschool, how areyou going to learnwhat you need toknow to make goodgrades? Well, bygoing to school,you not only enhance your mind,you also increaseyour ability tomove forward inlife, to be somebody someday.
