This view is at Plant 1 of Inland Steels Indiana Harbor Works. Of special interest is the small open building on the sidewalk outside the Main Building. This structure was connected to the plant deep wells used for drinking water. Many of the citizens and employees carried water from this well for drinking purposes. |
