The John Downing Johnson family resided here from 1924 until 1951. Henry Beard bought the property and converted it into four apartments.This 1 1/2-story Craftsman Bungalow has brick walls, a full-width front porch with battered wood piers and a front door with multi-paned sidelights. The low-pitched gable roof is broken in front by a stuccoed, low-profile gabled dormer with a bank of casement windows.
