Description: |
In 1881 William Trow relocated his flour mill on what is now Vaughn Drive. In 1883 the elevator caught on fire and burned. The mill was rebuilt but was destroyed in the flood of 1937. The site of the old mill was authorized as the site for the Crystal Beach Swimming Pool, a W.P.A. project. The pool house was built of stones from the old mill. |
