Summitville Tile Works was started shortly after the discovery of gas in Summitville in 1887 and manufactured drain tiles. It became a part of National Drain and Tile prior to 1914. It was listed as a taxpayer in the 1928-1929 Anderson City Directory, but not in the 1930-1931 edition. |
