Description: |
When it was built in 1902, the Union Building was the second largest office building in Indiana and was one of the first all-steel structures in Indiana. It has had a variety of tenants in its long history: the Union Traction Company, Citizens Nursing Center, the Anderson telephone exchange, radio station WHBU and, as seen here, the Lion Department Store. A 1934 fire severely damaged the building. |
