Letter, Lewis Cass to John Tipton, 1824-07-10

Description: In rather lengthy letter, Cass describes budget for Tipton agency of $3700, salt annuity, new bonds required for Tipton, McKenney appointed to head Indian Department, and Indian trading licenses. Cass requests Tipton to sketch his area marking the villages and number of Native Americans in each.Enclosed letter, McKenney to Indian agents, June 19, 1824.
