Letter from Norman E. Dold to Jesse G. Dorsey, June 25, 1945.

Description:	Dold writes from Paris, France. The scenery is beautiful so he has been spending time outside. He ran across Bob Miller a couple of months ago and they had a good talk about home. He describes the prices and quality of the liquor. He is enclosing a couple of recent pictures. This letter is part of a large group of letter written to or by Jesse G. Dorsey during World War II. Dorsey ran the community house for the Louisville Cement Company in Speed, Indiana. Being a veteran of World War I, he knew the value of providing support to the troops. He wrote letters and sent the company newsletter (Speedometer) to several hundred service men and women during the war. The community house also hosted weekend parties for soldiers from Fort Knox, Kentucky during the war.
