January 27, 1949Mr. Joseph Lerinskas 896 Broad Street Hartford, ConnecticutDear Joe:Your Christmas card was received here at the Community House and we were glad to hear from you. Occasionally one of the many soldiers who spent weekends in our community center write to us and we are always glad to know that we are remembered. We enjoyed making the acquaintance of so many fellowsfroa all orer the United States and just wish we could hear from every one of them. When your card came, I wondered what had caused you to remember us aftar four long years. As you may remember, we took pictures of all the fellows who came here and mounted them in scrap books; we often look at these pictures and recall the nice times two had together. When your card came I looked up your picture and in that way was able to really renew our acquaintance. We will be glad to hear from you any time, and if you are ever in this part of the country, be sure to stop and see us.Sincerely,Jesse G. Dorseyld
