Ace Bailey’s Famous Utah Trailers as a 5 member ensemble

Description: This postcard features an inscribe image of Ace Bailey and the Utah Trailers. When this image was taken the band consisted of 5 members. From the left, the members are Henry “Scrub Board” Wallace. “Scrub Board” is dressed as a hillbilly clown. He is wearing an oversized plaid shirt and short legged pants and suspenders. He is holding his signature washboard that has a number of bells and horns fixed to the sides. He has drawn exaggerated freckles on his face and is wearing a comicial wig. To Scrub Board’s right is the fiddle player “Slim.” Slim is plaid button-up shirt, dark trousers, cowboy boots and dark cowboy hat with a lighter trim. Slim is holding his fiddle tucked under his arm and holding the bow by the frog. To the right of Slim is Leroy “Ace” Bailey. Ace is wearing a plaid shirt, dark trousers, cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat. He is holding his guitar, which has his nickname painted on the body, by the neck. To the right of Ace is his brother, Richard “Banjo Dick” Bailey. Banjo Dick is wearing a plaid shirt, dark trousers, cowboy boots, and a black hat. He is resting his hands on the headstock of his banjo. To the right of Banjo Dick is the bass player “Shorty.” Shorty is wearing a plaid shirt, dark trousers, cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat with a light colored band. He is holding his bass by the neck.
