1842-10-03 Letter to Mother Mary Lecor, Superior General of Sisters of Providence, Ruillé-sur-Loir

Description: A letter to Mother Mary Lecor relating a series of catastrophes: an apparent conspiracy against the Sisters in Terre Haute, the imminent failure of the boarding school, merchants inexplicably demanding immediate payment, and finally, a disastrous fire that destroyed the barn and all the wheat stored within it. Dated October 3, 1842.
