1841-05-25 Letter to René-Jean-François Lottin, Abbot of Le Mans, France

Description: A letter to Abbé Lottin describing their forest cabin, the American postulants, their “trousseau,” their poor education, the independence and coldness of Americans. She writes of her desire to be replaced because of her poor health and unfitness for the task given her. Dated May 25, 1841.
