A letter to Mother Mary from Vincennes, where Mother Theodore has been attending the consecration of the cathedral. She expresses admiration for the missionary ecclesiastics--Abbé Benoit, who is traveling to France; Bishop Purcell of Cincinnati; Bishop Bruté, and Father Petit. She asks for two books to be sent back with Abbé Benoit. Dated August 9, 1841. |
