She reports on the success of schools in Madison and Fort Wayne and asks for French sisters to be Local Superiors, as the cities of Lafayette, Indianapolis and Evansville are asking for Sisters. She laments her imperfections and says they are terribly in debt but pleased with Bishop de la Palais. Dated May 24, 1849. |
