A letter from John Badollet to his son, Albert, who is in a military camp wanting a substitute. John writes Albert that finding a substitute will be difficult, but if that is what he truly wants, John will try to find Albert a replacement. Finally, John tells Albert that everyone at home misses him, and to continue writing in his journal. The death of King George III is also mentioned. |
