Description: A British circular entitled, Thoughts on War and Peace with a note of Submitted to the serious attention of all classes. They may be used as bills for circulation, or as envelopes for letters, which comprises dozens of quotations promoting pacifism and anti-war sentiments. This circular was used as an envelope and sent to Samuel Heineken, Jr. in Garnant Colliery, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It was mailed from Rochester, England on September 3, 1845.
