Description: This letter was written by William C. Olds to his father Frank A. Olds while he was stationed along the Chattahooche River with Company C of the 63rd Indiana Infantry Regiment. He discusses the Union army pushing the Confederates off Kennesaw Mountain, his food rations and the companys health, and his regiments orders. He also requests for his father to send newspapers about General Grants actions in Virginia.
