209. Womens Fashions, circa 1870

Description: Three different photographs have been placed together and photographed to create one slide. The first woman to the left is wearing a striped dress with mutton sleeves. The dress has a lace color, pinned with a brooch. The middle woman is standing, showing off the length of the dress, which falls below her feet and spreads around her. The dresses mutton sleeves features some fancy work. The third woman is wearing a white or light colored dress which has fancy buttons from the low waist up to the color. She is wearing a bolero jacket of the same color over her dress. The jacket has trim around the front opening and lace trim on the bell sleeves.
