29. 120 High Street

Description: This home, now a part of Jeffersonville, was built between 1870 and 1880 in a community once known as Port Fulton. Alan F. Fox was the resident in 1983 at the time of the first viewing of the Historic Homes slide show. The home is built up a small incline from the street level, with 8 steps separating the street sidewalk from the walk to the residence. The building is two story with an open porch stretched across the face of the first floor. The support poles are decorated with gingerbread carving stretching the underside of the roof between the poles. There are three windows on the front upper floor and a door and two windows on the first floor.
