464. Mechanic Street, 1937

Description: Mechanic Street is shown here. The parked car looks as if it is still functioning because it is not covered with debris and its tires are inflated. The buildings shown behind the car are not so lucky. One has been swept off of its foundations and is on a tilt, held in place as it rests against the outer wall of its neighbor to the left. There is much debris scattered around the houses and further debris can be seen behind the buildings.
