A Democrat Party title in its beginning, the paper changed names from Register to Democratic Register to Indiana Register. The original version was created in 1846 by John Kent ,after a merger of Political Beacon and Indiana Whig. Kent sold quickly to John B. Hall in 1846. The titles survived several owners and continued into the modern era but the title of Indiana Register was applied 1846-1851. Weekly |
