Huntington Memorial Hospital

Description: Huntington Memorial Hospital May 10, 1973. This picture shows the completed renovation in 1961. The capacity to nearly 100 patients. The $1.1 million addition was the biggest and 2nd remodeling made to the building. It was the first completed in Sept. 1917. The new name was adopted November 19, 1971, the Huntington Memorial Hospital, The thrid major expansion was approved and planning was started in 1972 for added facilities. One to to be the Coronary Care Unit to be in use in 1973. Later the special room will be in the remodeling plans to begin in 1974. This is the only post card made of the building since 1961.
