Schaff Bros. Band. Schaff Bros. was a piano factory on Riverside Drive in Huntington that operated until the Great Depression. In 1903, the company created a band under the direction of Professor J. L. Swihart. For several years, the band put on concerts, performed for dances, and marched in parades in and around Huntington County. The last time a performance from the band is mentioned in the newspapers is in 1909. |
