Lawyers vs. Doctors

Description: Before the encore Doctors vs Lawyers baseball game on the 16th of August 1906, a parade was held to celebrate the occasion. The ballplayers decided to dress up in silly costumes to entertain their fans. The various costumes included: one man with a wooden leg and a “missing” arm, another man was wrapped nearly head to toe in bandages, another was dressed as a washerwoman, another stuffed his shirt full to make a pot belly, another donneda sunbonnet, another was an old woman, and another was Mother Hubbard. The doctors ended up winning the encore baseball game with a score of 18-14.
