Lombard Building

The Lombard Building, completed in 1893, is located at 22 East Washington Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. The building, designed by R.P. Daggett & Company, featured storefronts on the first floor and office space in the remaining levels. At the time of this photograph, the Lombard Building hosted law and real estate offices as well as a dentist, Geo J. Marott Shoes (which later moved into the building next door at 20 East Washington), and the American National Bank. In 1984, The Lombard Building and the next-door Marott Building underwent renovations to create the Victoria Centre, a commercial building. |
