Court orders issued to James Edgar to explain why he failed to comply with rulings in cases involving Oliphant v. Morrison and Vinton v. Morrison issued by John Rice Jones with delivary witnessed by Jas. Gilbreath.

Description: notice to James Edgar, sherriff of Randolph county demanding an explanation why he failed to execute court orders in the case of William B. Vinson against Robert Morrison and the case of Andrew Oliphant against Robert Morrison. On the back of each notice is confirmation from Jas. Gilbreath, corroner, that the notices were delivered to Edgar on the August 18, 1806.
