Description: On front is an April 1806 summons from the Indiana Territory General Court to James Edgar requesting he show cause why he should not be fined for not returning an execution from the case of Frederick Graeter versus Joy Carpenter. On the back is sworn statement that the request of the court was delivered to Sheriff Edgar on August 16, 1806.
