Korean War Letter from Paul D. Hinton to Jesse G. Dorsey 29 Mar 1951

Description: Paul is in Korea in the Cavalry. He has not been getting his mail for a couple months because he is moving around so much. They traveled across Korea via railroad. Paul thinks the towns are a complete wreck. He is not exactly sure where he is but sees jets fly over. He has been sleeping on a wood floor and has not had a bath in 4 days. This letter is part of the Jesse G. Dorsey Korean War Correspondence collection. Dorsey was the Director of Recreation and Welfare and editor of the Speed-O-Meter newsletter for the Louisville Cement Company. Dorsey began sending monthly letters and the Speed-O-Meter to local service personnel during WWII. He continued this through the Korean War and for sometime afterwards.
