Korean War Letter from Herbert Fritz Woods to Jesse G. Dorsey 30 Sep 1951

Description:	Fritz is stationed at Sheppard Air Force base in Texas where he is an instructor in the Air Craft and Engine Mechanics department. He enjoys teaching and recalls an experience of instructing a group of Turkish students. He wants to know where Bill Thomas was shipped to because 95 out of 100 basics that graduate end up at the Sheppard. He expects to be home around Christmas. This letter is part of the Jesse G. Dorsey Korean War Correspondence collection. Dorsey was the Director of Recreation and Welfare and editor of the Speed-O-Meter newsletter for the Louisville Cement Company. Dorsey began sending monthly letters and the Speed-O-Meter to local service personnel during WWII. He continued this through the Korean War and for sometime afterwards.
