Photograph of the Louisville Dixie Flyer interurban train car in Henryville, Indiana. The Indianapolis and Louisville Traction Company began the interurban service in 1907. The interurban was an electric train that ran from Louisville, Kentucky to as far north as Seymour, Indiana. The tracks mostly followed the path of what is now Highway 31. The railway was later known as Louisville and Northern Railway. |
