Louisville and Northern Railway Interurban station, Henryville, Indiana photograph

Description:	Two photographs of the Louisville and Northern Railway depot in Henryville, Indiana. The original depot in Henryville opened in 1910 under the name Indianapolis and Louisville Traction Company. The railway was better known as the Interurban which was an electric train that opened its line in 1907 between Seymour and Sellersburg, Indiana. The tracks followed the path of what is now Highway 31. The original depot in Henryville located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 31 and County Road 160 burned. These pictures show the second depot located at the northeast corner of HWY 31 and CR 160. The view is looking north. The main line ran on the west side of the building. There was a spur line that ran on the east side of the building. The interurban line was discontinued in 1946. Later photographs of this building show it with a brick façade. The roof was taken off by a tornado in 1948. It was then destroyed by a tornado in 2012.
