Charlestown, Indiana Highway 62 walk bridges 1941 post cards

Description: Two post cards showing one of two identical walk bridges that were constructed over Highway 62 in Charlestown, Indiana in 1940 to help with traffic flow. The parking lots for the Indiana Ordnance Works were on the other side of the highway from the powder plant. Traffic would have to be stopped to get the people across the road.
