Description: A photograph of a gas station and restaurant in Memphis, Indiana on Highway 31. The signs read eat breakfast here, Aetna, and Memphis lunch steaks sandwiches. This photograph appeared in the picture booklet Greeting From Home Christmas 1943 which was a gift sent by the Speed and Sellersburg communities to locals who were serving in World War II. The picture was titled The Highway at Memphis. From the Jesse Dorsey Collection.
