Waugh Family

Description: Frank Waugh and his wife Elmatie are pictured on the front porch of their home in 1903 surrounded by their family. From left to right they are Edward, baby Edna, Glen and Bill Waugh, and standing at the right, Stacy Johnson, Maties mother. Frank was a painter, trained fire horses, and operated a dray business in Chesterton. After his death in 1909, Matie supported her young family by doing housework and by working at the Chesterton china factory.
