George C. Morgan Home, Chesterton

Description: Shown left to right in this 1893 photograph are Morgan family members Bennett, Georgie, Edward, Wilfred, Arthur, Mrs. Margaret Morgan, daughter Sarah, and father George C., son of early settler Jesse Morgan. The home, located on the Morgan farm near E. Porter Avenue (1200 N.) and Sand Creek Drive, burned to the ground in the early 1900s.
