Description: 7/12/1965 pg. 4 Of great interest to those attending the open house is the separately house wire room at the west end of the News Room on the second floor of the building. In the above picture, Carl Miller (second from right), news editor of The Truth, explains the workings of an Associated Press perforator machine and its coded tape which is used in the type-setting operation in the composing room.
