The Elkhart Community Schools new bus garage was constructed on the east end of the districts multimillion dollar educational complex on California Road to the rear of the Elkhart Career Center building. In clear weather, the garage would provide enough space to service six buses simultaneously. The new garage was completed around July 22, 1972 with a cost of $73,455. |
