Charles Sumner Beardsley (11/12/1874 - 2/15/1962). He practiced law, joined Miles Laboratories in 1926 becoming vice president, president, and chairman of the board, and original organizer of the National Vitamin Foundation. He was appointed to the War Production Boards proprietary advisory committee and worked in co-operation with the Drug, Cosmetic and Allied Industries Committee for War Bond Advertising. He was one of the organizers of the Bureau of Education on Fair Trade and was elected president in 1949 of the American Foundation of Pharmaceutical Education. |
