Miss Knells class in basket weaving - Chautauqua

Description: Miss Knells Class in Basket Weaving was one of the many offerings at the Elkhart Chautauquas. This photograph was taken around 1910 at McNaughton Park. Here the pupils in the class are shown with their baskets at varying points of completion. Standing from left to right are Grace White, Jean White, two unidentified ladies, and Miss Knell beside the tree. Seated are an unidentified woman, Louisa Weber, Marie Anderson, Helen Kenyon, Mrs. Kenyon, Hoelette Kenyon (girl with large hair bow), Mrs. J.C. (Nellie) Fleming, and twins Chester and Betty Fleming. The other two ladies in the front and child in the background have not been identified.
