Disneys revered Snow White & the Seven Dwarves was the first full-length animated feature ever made, introduced in 1938. It was enormously successful. In this immortal fairy tale, Snow White flees her vain and jealous stepmother the Queen. Fleeing to the forest, she befriends the Seven Dwarves. After the young prince saves her from the Queen’s spell, Snow White awakens. Toy makers quickly produced dolls and other toys relating to the movie. Snow White was made by the Madame Alexander Doll Company in 1938. The dwarves are plastic and were made about 1980. |
