Juvenile triceratops

Description: These fossils are a horn and a section of the frill of a young Triceratops. They were discovered in the Cretaceous Period rocks of South Dakota. While these fossils represent the remains of a juvenile, the adults could grow to lengths of 30 feet and weigh up to 6 tons.
