Baseball cap from 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan

Description: The Olympics are a time when much of the world unites to support and celebrate star athletes from all over the globe. In 1998, the city of Nagano, Japan hosted the Winter Olympics. Thanks to increasingly global communication and technology systems, much of the world watched as athletes competed in challenging events like figure skating, luge racing, downhill skiing and, for the first time in history, womens ice hockey. While international athletes competed against one another, they also formed special relationships and camaraderie to last a lifetime. The proceeds from this cap and other Olympic promotional materials went towards supporting Americas athletes to ensure that America continues to find its place in this extraordinary global partnership.
