This predatory animal, also known as a “Sea Scorpion,” crawled along the sea floor looking for food, which included trilobites and cephalopods. These animals are related to spiders and horseshoe crabs, and the lobsters they look like. Most of these fossils come from rock that came from freshwater environments, but they may have lived in the oceans as well.
